The 2503-HN is a custom made audio output transformer. 100% of the 2503-HN's laminations are 80% high nickel content. The high nickel lams are known as superior preforming with less phase shift and lower distortion than the standard M6 iron core. Along with this performance comes a much higher price. The 2503-HN sounds phenomenal in summing circuits especially when paired with a gar918 or an SL-1731. The 2503-HN can easily be distinguished by the shiny bright laminations, dark gray keeper lamination and the sexy blue bobbin. The 2503-HN has flying leads and can be mounted directly to a PCB The physical layout matches our 2503-Litz version, the EA2503 and also the popular CMOQ-2 series of transformers.
