The Bourns 600 ohm T-Pad Attenuator is a 3-module, custom made, conductive plastic, potentiometer array. This potentiometer can be used to attenuate the input or output of a balanced line level device. The t-pad presents a consistent 600 ohm source and load impedance throughout it's entire rotation. This is the same configuration t-pad that is used for input attenuation in the popular 1176 FET compressor builds. It can also be used as the output attenuator in our VP25, VP26, VP312 and VP312DI mic preamplifiers. The feel of this part is essentially identical to the Bourns 25K pot we use for mic preamp gain. However, these attenuators are a special order part so the 500 ohm cups are indeed conductive plastic.
