The Elma 04, 2x24-10k is a high quality, custom-made switch for audio applications. I use this switch as the stereo, control room level attenuator in the 625CR control room module. The 10k value makes this stereo switch a perfect option any 2-stage control room monitor circuit. The switch is fully factory assembled by Elma with the SMD resistors installed. They use a custom made, 0.05% precision tolerance Susumu resistor for audio applications. The extremely tight resistor tolerance insures that left to right stereo levels remain consistent from end to end. More than enough, even for discriminating mastering applications. The switch has a custom light torque configuration for the ultimate high end feel. The steps are a modified log scale with 1dB increments throughout the "sweet spot" of the rotation.
