The CAPI IC-DOA PCB kit is an adapter board created to allow a standard DIP8 IC opamp to be used in place of a 2520 style opamp. The board comes with two .1μF/50V PSU bypass capacitors. Care must be taken on when and where one uses this board. Most IC opamps cannot directly drive a 1:2 transformer with a 600 ohm device following it for very long. They can be used for short term testing though. That said, it is not recommended to use this adapter in one of our mic preamp kits or the output stage of our kits, other than for short. term testing. The goal for this kit is low cost and ease of build. The main use in our products is as the balanced receiver of the EQ kits, receiver of the ML2 or either of the first two positions of the FC526 FET peak limiter. Industry standard 2520 footprint for plug-in or PC mount connections Allocation on the board for the typical 22pF compensation capacitor required for a 5534 style IC
