The HiZ Plug-In TX2 PCB Kit is a 1.1"(28mm) by 1.1"(28mm) printed circuit board created to be used as a high impedance or direct inject solution for coupling HiZ instruments to the low impedance inputs of professional microphone preamplifiers. The design is modular and interchangeable for endless possibilities. The TX2 PCB is a passive design and specifically created with the Pikatron UP3096M transformer in mind. The HiZ Plug-In is a new concept developed by myself and Volker Mayer, aka [silent:arts]. Our thought was to have a standardized footprint for a small PCB, which can contain many different HiZ circuits for different uses and applications. It is a modular design, much like the 2520 DOA. We use the same exact Mill-Max pins that we use for our DOA projects. The footprint is noticeably different from a 2520 DOA, to help avoid any costly mishaps. The HiZ Plug-In is an open format. Open to any and all who want to experiment or create their very own, unique HiZ circuit. In fact, we welcome and encourage that.
