The DTO5 is a simple 5 transistor discrete operational amplifier. The circuit, while not exactly anything new, it is also not a direct copy of anything either. It is based on a simple buffer opamp that was used by many different American recording console manufacturers in the early 1970's. Variations of this circuit were used in a number of the early "swinging input" graphic EQ's from that era. The DTO5 has a unique and proprietary footprint. It is smaller than a typical 2520 style opamp. I had to reformat due to space limitations in the projects I am using it in. That said, I am not offering these on an individual basis, only when bundled in a larger kit that they are being used in. I currently use the DTO5 as an internal buffer in the Love Child EQ project. I do have many other uses for this circuit in upcoming modules. This discrete opamp circuit utilizes current production BC550C, 1N5087 & 1N5088 transistors. ***Please note: This item is currently only offered in the LC53A equalizer bundle
