The Switchcraft S3FM is an unwired, 3-pin Male XLR to 3-pin Female XLR feed thru audio adapter. The tube is designed to accept simple passive circuitry including small transformers. The rugged S3FM is a perfect solution to house a simple U-Pad if one wants to run line level signal into a mic preamp or create different pads to attenuate the hot output level of a mic preamp.
