The Floor Box PSU Components Kit is a complete kit of components that will fully and properly populate a GDIY51PSU-V2 PCB. Great
time has been put into this kit. Every single component was selected for a reason. That reason was never "this is the cheapest or
best deal for this part". Some builds have certain components where low grade substitutions can be made and it will function just
fine. It is the belief of Cemal, Volker and myself that this build is not one for those kinds of substitutions. Therefore, we have
only chosen components that come from well respected, high quality manufacturers.
Much time was taken to track the comparative costs of these kits. These very same identical parts can be purchased using a
combination of the typical supply houses. The result of this will give you a "one-off" retail price of about $90.00. That will also
take a number of hours to put together. Hours than can be spent building and/or recording!
The GDIY51PSU-V2 PCB can be built with all 16V rails or a +/-16V and +/-24V combination. We are only stocking one components kit
for this PCB. The only difference between the way the board is populated is by changing four resistor values. Since all the
resistors are included in the kit, you will have four left over. The BOM is clearly noted so be careful when installing the
resistors.
A full compliment of 5x20mm fuses is included in this kit along with spares.
(2) 2.5A, 250V, Slow Blow for the IEC inlet, (one spare)
(2) 160mA, 250V, Fast Blow for the 48V rail, (one spare)
(6) 1.5A, 250V, Fast Blow for the four main DC voltage rails, (two spares)
