This is a very nice compressor unit, similar feature set as an 1176 and similar tones! While it isn’t a straight copy, it definitely brings a lot of the same sounds. Tonally it is closer to the Blue variation of the 1176 with a more prominent high end and forward presence. Also slightly reminiscent of an API 2500 bus compressor with its bold compression character. The .5 dB gain reduction increment is fantastic as well for monitoring subtle compression levels! Sounds excellent on many sources, I would highly recommend!
