The compression is flexible with super fast attack times. Sounds great on snare!
Also, I now NEED a second (at least), as it sounds amazing just running a signal through it with the gain reduction turned off.
Noticeably adding a bit of heft and a tinge of sheen, this would be great on a drum bus with a pair.
I have assembled CAPI’s 11 space rack and this comp. Just ordered a VP26 and can’t wait. The build of Jeff’s boards and layout are amazing. So well thought out and just sounds incredible! Get one when you can.
